Features
From the marks grid to a printed report card
Marks entered once, grades worked out from the school's scale, report cards printed and published as a fixed copy.

The problem: report-card season
Report-card season is when the office works late. Marks arrive on paper from each teacher, get typed into a spreadsheet, are checked against the register of absentees, and are copied into a template one student at a time. A single wrong cell can mean reprinting a whole class.
How it works in Campus One
Teachers enter marks into a marks grid with a row for each student. A student who did not sit the paper gets a code instead of a number: AB for absent, ML for medical leave or EX for exempt. If two people change the same cell, the second save is refused instead of silently overwriting the first.
Grades are worked out from the school's grade scale. A scale is stored as data with the year it takes effect, so when a board revises its scheme the school adds the new scale instead of rewriting old results.
From the grid, Campus One prints the report card. When results are ready, the school publishes them, and the published report card becomes a fixed copy. If a correction is needed later, it is issued again as a new copy; the earlier one is never silently changed.
Who uses it
- Teachers enter marks for their subjects.
- The academic head checks the grid before results are published.
- The office prints and hands out report cards.
What it does not do yet
- A moderation workflow for marks and a grid for co-scholastic areas are not built yet.
- Which board formats your school needs is a question to ask us on a walkthrough: we answer for your case rather than promise a format here.

Questions
Can we use our own report-card layout?
Yes, as an add-on: a custom report-card template is priced at ₹5,000 per template on the price list.
What happens if a mark was wrong after results are published?
A published report card is a fixed copy. A correction is issued again as a new copy, so the earlier one is never silently changed.
How is an absent student marked?
With a code instead of marks: AB for absent, ML for medical leave or EX for exempt.
